If you want the best possible audio quality, then an Apple iPod dock will make it sound even better, but we’ll get to that in a moment. Many have linked channels with short jumper cables on older AC-30s, but chief Vox engineer Steve Grindsrod designed this feature right into the new AC-30 Custom Classic amps. Pretty much every stereo available has RCA inputs as the standard inputs on the back. A small toggle switch called 'Input Link' alllows you to combine these channels. So tell us what amp you have with multiple inputs and we can tell you if theres anything cool you can do with it. The two RCA connectors plug into the back of your stereo and the 3.5mm plugs into the headphone jack of your iPhone. no real tone changes though if you plugged the same instrument into two or more of those inputs though. it was kinda janky because then everyone would be playing out of the same speaker and phasing each other out, but hey, it worked good enough to make everyone heard for the most part. back in the old days not everyone could afford an amp, so they encouraged everyone to just plug into the same amp. i forget exactly though cuz we stopped doing things like that after the first few amps stopped working. the vox ac15 has two completely independant channels with separate inputs that you can combine with an ABY switch or something similar for the reasons you're thinkingīut most amps just have two inputs, one for higher input and one for lower input, sometimes denoted as "high" or "low" and its not smart to use those at the same time as you could potentially overload your preamp somehow. Vox AC30CC2 w/ road case and alnico golds Dr Z. i have no idea how they made it work, but thats what was awesome about it.

like a marshall plexi would allow you to plug into 1, connect 2 and 3 as a jumper for a tone boost and use 4 as an output to a second plexi for rock and rollers using more than one rig. As the name suggests, ACE30 emulates the Vox AC30 family, offering Normal and Top Boost channels each with high- and low-level inputs. Plug AC Adapter/ Recharger power supply (S1460) into the DC IN jack on front panel of the amp. Insert the battery pack plug into the connector where the battery holder was plugged into. Depending on the amp, it has different function. Both individually and together, the three amps cover the main guitar amp domains of clean, crunch and distorted. If using the S-1465 NiCad Battery Pack (Fig 3), replace battery holder with the battery pack.
